Avnet Technology Solutions has signed a distribution agreement with Nutanix to distribute its web-scale converged infrastructure solution in the United States and Canada. Under this agreement, Avnet will provide its channel partners with the Nutanix Virtual Computing Platform, which partners can use to design and develop converged compute and storage infrastructure for virtualized data centers.

The Virtual Computing Platform complements Avnet’s portfolio by offering partners a converged infrastructure option that consolidates the server and storage tiers into a single, integrated appliance. Avnet also can help partners design, integrate and assemble computing appliances based on the Nutanix Virtual Computing Platform through its converged infrastructure team at the Avnet Global Solutions Center in Chandler, Ariz.

Fujitsu Signs Arrow to Distribute Enterprise Products

Fujitsu has signed Arrow Electronics as the primary distributor of its enterprise products in the United States. Under the terms of the agreement, Arrow now offers the complete line of Fujitsu enterprise products including FUJITSU PRIMERGY, FUJITSU PRIMEQUEST x86 servers, and ETERNUS storage systems. In addition, Arrow and its solution provider partners will have access to key Fujitsu data center offerings, including converged infrastructure and SAP HANA. The partnership brings a full breadth of end-to-end enterprise solutions to the channel, said Fujitsu.

Pluribus Networks Unveils Channel Partner Program

Pluribus Networks has announced its channel partner program, Pluribus Pro Program, targeting value-added resellers, system integrators, as well as hardware manufacturers and IT solution vendors. Pluribus Networks touts the industry’s first and only bare-metal, distributed network hypervisor operating system, Netvisor.

The channel partner program for the software-defined networking (SDN) market offers three reseller levels—One-Time, Gold and Platinum. Benefits include qualified sales lead generation and lead distribution, joint marketing and selling with the Pluribus team, sales training and access to dedicated Pluribus sales representatives, opportunity protection and deal registration, and ongoing Web-based and onsite training. The program also offers referral fees for non-reseller partners. Lumenate, Presidio, Datavision and Terrapin Systems are a few of the first resellers to join the partner program.

Arbor Networks Adds FishNet Security as Elite Partner

Arbor Networks, a provider of distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) and advanced threat protection solutions for enterprise and service provider networks, has signed FishNet Security, a provider of information security solutions, as an Arbor Elite partner. FishNet Security has nine training facilities, two product testing laboratories and two security operations centers that monitor and support customer networks.

The Arbor Advantage Partner Program offers four levels of partnership—Authorized, Advantage, Premier and Elite—to accommodate the various business models of partners. Benefits include deal registration, marketing support, sales and technical training, and lead referrals. The program also offers product specializations for partners that want to become technically proficient in specific products.
