AWS recently announced a series of new partnership agreements that aim to allow organizations and customers to maximize generative AI and drive innovation through cloud computing.
Through these partnership agreements, organizations can build new applications, and financial institutions can automate critical and repetitive processes and make more data-driven decisions while operating at peak performance with GenAI-enabled solutions. Additionally, one of the new partnership agreements will allow organizations to accelerate the impact of cloud-driven innovation.
Each partnership agreement comes with its own unique qualities to add value to the customers that partners serve.
Box and AWS partner on GenAI
Box Inc., an Intelligent Content Management platform, recently announced that it will be expanding its strategic partnership with AWS to empower organizations of all sizes to build new applications and maximize productivity with GenAI.
The expanded partnership will now allow Box customers to access foundation models directly in Box AI using Amazon Bedrock, starting with Anthropic’s Claude and Amazon Titan. The integration will allow companies to quickly and securely build GenAI applications and gather more intelligence from their data using a Box connector for Amazon Q Business.

AWS expands partnership with Q2
AWS is expanding its strategic partnership with Q2 Holdings, a provider of digital transformation solutions for financial services, to continue driving innovation for its bank, credit union, and fintech customers.
As part of this collaboration, AWS and Presidio, a technology services and solutions provider and a premier consulting partner within the Amazon Partner Network, will assist Q2 with expanding the use of the AWS platform to power its digital banking product. This includes GenAI for its solution suite to help financial institutions automate critical and repetitive processes and better serve their consumer and business customers.
The partnership will also allow Q2 to migrate and modernize more than 50,000 services on AWS, including its Q2 Innovation Studio and Partner Marketplace platform.
AWS and e& enter $1B agreement
Global technology group e& announced a strategic partnership with AWS recently– signing a $1 billion agreement over the next six years to accelerate the impact of cloud-driven innovation and digital transformation across the region.
The new partnership will combine AWS’ cloud infrastructure and solutions with e&’s network capabilities to address the most stringent customer requirements across the public sector and regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, and oil and gas in the Middle East. The partnership will bring cloud solutions to align with industry regulations and meet the growing demand for secure and scalable infrastructure.
Smartsheet and AWS partner on AI
Smartsheet, an enterprise work management platform, recently announced that it will partner with AWS to launch a new connector that synchronizes data from Smartsheet into Amazon Q Business, a GenAI-powered assistant.
The new connector will enable Amazon Q Business customers to ask their intelligent assistant for information about their projects, programs, and processes managed in Smartsheet. This enablement will offer a unified search experience across their knowledge base so employees can make data-driven decisions and operate at peak performance.

CelcomDigi partners with AWS on digital transformation
Malaysian mobile operator CelcomDigi is collaborating with AWS as its key cloud provider to transform into an AI-powered organization and improve its service to over 20 million customers.
Since establishing the AI Sandbox with AWS earlier this year, CelcomDigi has built and piloted more than 15 GenAI applications to streamline operations. These applications allow CelcomDigi to reinforce its commitment to providing seamless mobile network coverage and service quality.

Lumen and AWS partner to enhance network operations and delivery
Lumen Technologies and AWS have announced an agreement to boost data center connectivity and optimize network delivery of cloud technologies for millions of customers, utilizing GenAI to do so.
AWS will allow Lumen to use their technologies across AI, ML, and security to modernize applications and systems and drive innovation in Lumen’s portfolio of communications, network services, security, and voice products. Further, Lumen will provide fiber connectivity to AWS data centers, helping enterprise customers build and deliver highly scalable AI applications across AWS Regions and AWS Local Zones.
