Multinational technology services and consulting company Cognizant recently debuted a new addition to its Neuro suite of platforms, Cognizant Neuro Cybersecurity.

The newest solution is designed to amplify cybersecurity resilience by integrating and orchestrating point cybersecurity solutions across the enterprise. Neuro Cybersecurity tackles cybersecurity challenges through an AI-enabled, user-friendly interface that enhances real-time decision-making across enterprises.

“As cybersecurity challenges become increasingly sophisticated and threats more acute, enterprises must adapt continually to remain a step ahead of threat actors,” said Annadurai Elango, EVP and global head, of core technology and insights at Cognizant. “CISOs are facing more risks than ever, and need a tool that can help reduce risk exposure, orchestrate across their security stack, and support comprehensive security coverage at enterprise scale. Cognizant Neuro Cybersecurity is designed with these goals in mind.”

The newest solution is designed with appropriate security and responsible AI guardrails. Cognizant works with client organizations and security teams to extend appropriate controls, ensuring the platform operates according to client needs and expectations and jointly aligned security standards.

Cognizant Neuro Cybersecurity capabilities

As threat actors become increasingly sophisticated in the AI era, Neuro Cybersecurity offers AI-enabled enterprise security orchestration for enhanced cyber resilience and risk management. Among the key capabilities of the solution include:

  • Aggregation of point solution results: This capability provides cybersecurity query outputs, reducing interpretation complexity and enabling faster risk mitigation actions.
  • Unified security management: Integration of multiple security system outputs into a single platform, expected to harmonize and integrate data from various sources to provide a holistic view of security threats, vulnerabilities, and risk information.
  • Enhanced threat detection and response: The capability provides advanced threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response features to ensure IT teams can detect and mitigate threats more effectively.
  • Intuitive interface: A unified, user-friendly interface aims to adapt to the needs of different users, which allows easy platform interaction and quick access to relevant information.
  • Scalability and flexibility: The platform is designed to seamlessly grow and adapt alongside an organization, accommodating increasing data volumes, evolving security needs, and changing compliance requirements without disruption.

Cognizant Neuro Cybersecurity integrates system APIs and natural language processing systems to use advanced AI algorithms and machine learning models for predictive analytics, automated threat detection, behavioral analysis, and intelligent orchestration.

“This integration improves efficiency, enhances threat detection and response, streamlines compliance, and protects sensitive data, ensuring a robust and adaptive security solution,” said Shambhulingayya Aralelemath, VP and global head of Cognizant’s cybersecurity practice, told Channel Insider. “The platform requires integration with client-owned tools and systems through APIs and GPUs, as well as infrastructure for platform deployment in a client-secured environment.”

While investing in modern tech tools is a good start to improving cybersecurity posture, Cognizant doesn’t believe it is wholly sufficient. These tools function best through integration, automation, and prediction and are action-enabled through an enhanced service wrapper. Cognizant Neuro Cybersecurity amplifies cyber risk resilience for enterprises by enabling faster detection-to-decision cycle times.

“With Cognizant’s AI-enabled platform-centric approach, the fusion of threats, vulnerabilities, intelligence, and risk makes it possible to predict and preempt threats, protect enterprise digital assets, and help our clients amplify their security posture,” said Aralelemath.

Cognizant partners with Palo Alto Networks

The introduction of this new platform comes on the heels of a recently announced strategic partnership between Cognizant and Palo Alto Networks, a multinational cybersecurity company.

This partnership is part of a strategy to deliver AI-driven cybersecurity solutions to companies in various industries and combines Cognizant’s cybersecurity experience with Palo Alto’s advanced AI platforms to offer four new platform services. Together, the two companies aim to support customers in bundling security solutions, reducing complexity, and increasing security levels.

Additionally, the partnership will allow Cognizant to expand its existing services further by integrating Palo Alto Network solutions which include the Precision AI Network Security Platform, the Code-to-Code Platform, and the Security Operations Platform.

“In the enterprise security space, AI presents an opportunity to augment human efforts,” CEO of Cognizant Ravi Kumar S said. “The combined capabilities of Cognizant and Palo Alto Networks will help our clients avail themselves of cutting-edge security technology, advisory and implementation, and managed services geared towards amplification of security posture and risk mitigation.”

The four new platform services that this strategic partnership provides include new services aimed at reducing cybersecurity risks, managing incidents, strengthening resilience, and complying with regulations. The four new services are:

  • SecureNXT Access: An AI-driven protection for zero trust network security that is supported by Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access.
  • SecureNXT Cloud: A platform that accelerates the secure transition to hybrid and multi-cloud environments with Prisma Cloud.
  • SecureNXT EDR/MDR: A proactive threat protection platform for modern workplaces with Cortex XDR.
  • SecureNXT SOC: A platform for real-time defense against cyber threats using Cortex XSIAM.

Protecting your organization with cybersecurity and MDR solutions helps fight against evolving threats being utilized by hackers. Read more about which tools for threat detection and incident response services will help your enterprise in 2025.
