BellSolutions, an MSP, has launched SecureMyCompany, a hosted management service provider offering for sale by VARs and other MSPs.

Using its own MSP bundles on top of Jamcracker Saas (Software as a Service) platform, MSP-turned-vendor SecureMyCompany has put forth an on-demand MSP offering, allows VARs and MSPs to piggyback on SecureMyCompany’s own success.

Resellers may leverage the SecureMyCompany’s own Kaseya platform, NOC (Network Operations Center) and SOC (Security Operations Center), to deliver Kaseya Enterprise IT management, McAfee Managed Security and Singlefin gateway protection.

VARs and other MSPs may sell and deliver Managed Services piecemeal for $19.95 per seat/per month, without the heavy overhead and startup costs associated with building out an MSP practice, said Frank Hughes, SecureMyCompany’s vice president of Technical Solutions.

“With Jamcracker, we brought Kaseya from off the shelf to on-demand,” Hughes said.

“VARs are basically getting a rented version of Kaseya, plus bundled McAfee.”

“And it’s a pay as you grow model,” he said. “We aren’t making you commit to 500 licenses. If you have a customer who needs 10 seats, you can get them up and running with that and you’re profitable from day one.”

Hughes expects the package to be attractive to VARs interested in breaking into MSP or looking to add another tool to the value-add of their current model.

The offering, and others like it, such as DO IT Smarter, provide relief from the early complaints of VARs that building an MSP practice presented too steep a ramp and many years of unprofitable business.

Many VARs complained that bulk license agreements pitched by vendors such as N-able further deepened the VARs found themselves in initiating a MSP practice.

SecureMyCompany is in talks with additional vendors to add new tools the on-demand belt, such as McAfee and Singlefin. Several new tools will be announced within 90 days, Hughes said.

OnDemand Ecosystem

JamCracker is building an ecosystem of content providers, including SecureMyCompany and Kaseya, to deliver on-demand.

The JSDN (Jamcracker Service Deliver network) now offers a catalog of services from those members, for sale, rebranding, bundling and support by VARs, MSP and ISVs, said Brent Arslaner, vice president of business development at Jamcracker.
