Sherweb, a cloud marketplace and distributor for MSPs, recently announced that it would be launching Keepit in its marketplace to enable managed service providers (MSPs) who work with Sherweb to streamline the backup and protection of data critical to internal processes and workloads on Keepit’s cloud-native platform.

Keepit adds new backup and data resiliency option for Sherweb partners

By adding Keepit to the marketplace, Sherweb will enhance its data resiliency offering, which provides a backup solution for reliable recovery times. Keepit includes an API-first architecture for seamless integration with leading enterprise applications, including Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Google Workspace, Zendesk, and others, to help MSPs reduce complexity and ensure comprehensive data protection.

“Keepit represents a significant step in Sherweb’s mission to support our partners in simplifying their operations and boosting profitability,” said Benji Germain, vice president of product at Sherweb. “MSPs are often burdened by complex, costly backup solutions that don’t fully meet client needs. By offering a simple, intuitive and cost-effective backup solution that supports a wide range of SaaS workloads, Keepit empowers MSPs to confidently protect clients’ data while saving time and reducing costs.”

Keepit provides one flat fee per user with all-inclusive pricing structures to remove hidden costs. Partners can also access exclusive volume discounts and bundles to further lower costs.

Sherweb’s moves for MSP partners

Adding Keepit to its marketplace is the latest move Sherweb has made to increase its offerings to MSPs. It comes not long after the addition of Rewst, an orchestration and automation platform for MSPs.

The Rewst platform helps address challenges– like growing workloads, stretched resources, and the need to deliver consistent, high-quality service– through automation processes such as ticket triaging, user onboarding/offboarding, Microsoft 365 management, and password resets, which Rewst says will save MSPs over 300 hours per month and minimize errors.

“At Sherweb, we understand that MSPs need more than just products– they need solutions that simplify their operations and amplify their impact,” said Germain. “Rewst is a game-changer for partners seeking to overcome operational bottlenecks, enabling them to shift focus to growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term success.”

Keepit report on data governance

Keepit, a vendor-independent cloud-native data protection platform, recently released a new report on data governance. The report exemplifies the organization’s commitment to helping businesses protect their data.

“Data is the foundation of innovation and preparedness. By focusing on data governance, CISOs and CIOs will lay the groundwork to effectively manage and grow their modern, data-driven enterprises,” said Kim Larsen, CISO at Keepit. “We hope our new report, with its practical approach to data governance, will give needed insights into data, its importance, and the crucial role intelligent data governance can play in today’s cybersecurity landscape.”

The report was developed and published to help IT leaders adopt or create a data governance framework to support innovation while ensuring business continuity. It covers the foundational importance of data control in the AI age and focuses on providing modern enterprises’ cyber resilience and compliance.

“Data governance paves the way for data resilience,” Larsen said. “Through data classification, companies will be able to detect any gaps in their business continuity plans, and, as an added benefit, enhance their current day-to-day operations.”

Among other additions for the Sherweb marketplace is one that will help MSPs support clients’ security needs. Read more about Sherweb’s marketplace and how MSPs can benefit from the technologies they’re launching within it.
