Organizations have kept the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) market alive at a steady pace to expand their capabilities and services. In February, several leaders in the channel joined forces to provide new and improved services.

This latest recap on the M&A market features a number of strategic acquisitions and a merger uniquely positioned to propel customers to the next level of business growth.

Converge Technology Solutions acquired by H.I.G. Capital

Recently, Converge Technology Solutions, an IT service management company, was acquired in an all-cash transaction by H.I.G. Capital– joining Mainline Information Systems as an owned entity by H.I.G.

Converge and Mainline offer complementary products and services. The companies will merge, allowing them to better serve customers with a broader and more diverse variety of solutions in cybersecurity, cloud, and digital infrastructure.

Ceragon acquires End 2 End Technologies

End-to-end wireless connectivity solutions provider, Ceragon, recently acquired End 2 End Technologies, an integration and software development company serving private networks.

“End 2 End Technologies enhances our capabilities in the fastest-growing portion of the telecommunications connectivity market, adding proven system integration capabilities and a unique network management software platform, making our solutions increasingly tailored to private network customers particularly in North America,” said Doron Arazi, Ceragon CEO. “We welcome the talented End 2 End team to Ceragon.”

The acquisition of End 2 End Technologies will add a unique expertise to Ceragon in the energy and utilities markets, providing proficiency in broadband and narrowband radio frequency communications.

UPSTACK acquires V3 Technology

The full-service technology advisory firm UPSTACK recently announced its acquisition of V3 Technology Inc., an IT advisory firm that provides mid-market business technology strategies.

Through this deal, V3 Technology President Tom VanWeckhoven will join UPSTACK as a partner, and V3 Technology will continue to support its current clients while benefiting from UPSTACK’s enhanced technical expertise, expanded sales support, and innovative proprietary technology.

New Charter Technologies acquires Orchestrate AI

Denver-based computer support and services company, New Charter Technologies, has acquired Orchestrate AI to help boost next-generation MSP services.

Orchestrate AI was founded by experienced MSP and technology leaders who have developed innovative solutions to bring AI into service delivery models.

“Orchestrate AI has held a singular focus on harnessing the unbelievable power of AI for the MSP model,” said New Charter Technologies CEO Peter Melby. “We are thrilled to bring them into New Charter and leverage both the team and the technology for our company and our clients. We are focused on building the MSP of the future– one where AI supports and enhances our people and our clients. With Orchestrate AI, we have the power and the depth to lead in new ways.”

Further, Orchestrate AI’s CEO and co-founder, Ryan Barton, has joined New Charter Technologies as Chief Innovation Officer.

CyberArk acquires Zilla Security

Identity security organization CyberArk, announced that it has acquired Zilla Security, a modern Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions provider. Through its AI-powered IGA capabilities, Zilla will help expand CyberArk’s Identity Security Platform with scalable automation that enables accelerated identity compliance and provisioning across digital environments, while maximizing security and operational efficiency.

“As enterprises navigate the proliferation of privilege in complex identity landscapes, modern IGA capabilities become critical for protecting digital assets and maintaining business agility. By expanding the CyberArk Identity Security Platform with Zilla’s modern IGA capabilities, we will reshape identity governance with scalable automation that delivers compliance and helps maximize security for the modern enterprise,” said Matt Cohen, the CEO of CyberArk. “We’re delighted to welcome Zilla’s co-founders Deepak Taneja and Nitin Sonawane, along with their talented team, to CyberArk. Their experience and expertise in IGA are unparalleled and will be instrumental in helping us shape the future of modern IGA and identity security.”

AchieveUnite acquires Rohner & Associates

AchieveUnite has acquired Rohner & Associates LLC, a Silicon Valley-based channel consulting firm, to create an industry partner ecosystem strategy and consulting firm.

AchieveUnite will acquire R&A’s assets, including proprietary logic frameworks and analytical models and tools that provide insights by identifying gaps in coverage execution, predicting effects, costs of productivity, and efficacy of programs through the isolation of causes and forecasting change impacts with model simulations.

MongoDB acquires Voyage AI

MongoDB, a data development company, recently announced the acquisition of Voyage AI to help fight against AI “hallucinations” in retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications.

Through this move, Voyage AI’s technology will be integrated with MongoDB’s platform, which will allow the organization to help businesses build more reliable AI applications that can more accurately search, retrieve, and leverage data.

“AI has the promise to transform every business, but adoption is held back by the risk of hallucinations,” said Dev Ittycheria, CEO of MongoDB. “By bringing the power of advanced AI-powered search and retrieval to our highly flexible database, the combination of MongoDB and Voyage AI enables enterprises to easily build trustworthy AI-powered applications that drive meaningful business impact. With this acquisition, MongoDB is redefining what’s required of the database for the AI era.”

Harness and Traceable to merge

End-to-end software delivery platform, Harness, and an API security leader, Traceable, recently announced a merger to create an advanced AI-native DevSecOps platform.

“This merger aims to address the challenges in balancing speed and security in software development by providing a truly unique offering in the marketplace,” said Sanjay Nagaraj, co-founder and CTO at Traceable. “Harness brings its unmatched visibility into the software development, testing, and delivery process, aggregating a wealth of development data. Traceable brings its deep insights into API usage and security platforms through its contextual analysis. By merging this wealth of data together into a unified platform, we will bring a next-generation DevSecOps platform to the market, setting a new standard for teams to seamlessly develop, deliver, and protect applications, and ensure security is built into every step of the software development lifecycle– from design to runtime.”

The two merging companies were both developed at BIG Labs, a San Francisco-based technology startup studio founded by Jyoti Bansal, who is CEO and co-founder of both Harness and Traceable. This makes both organizations uniquely positioned to be familiar with each other’s leadership structure and philosophy.
