Xerox is launching five new printers and multifunction products, available
through the channel, and designed to bring its advanced technology to a more
value-conscious customer.
"We’re taking a lot of the advanced technologies and workflows and
advanced performance characteristics for products priced for the higher end of
the market, and we are bringing those capabilities within the reach of
SMBs," said Robin Wessel, director of product marketing for desktop,
printers and MFPs. "These are priced to be able to be deployed in new and
exciting ways."
The products include the Phaser 3636 MFP, the Phaser 5550 enterprise class
or departmental monochrome tabloid printer, the Phaser 3100 MFP entry-level
multifunction printer for the monochrome desktop, the Phaser 3250 entry-level
monochrome printer, and the Phaser 3600 medium-size workgroup-class printer.
Xerox is combining partner sales of these products under its Peak Partner
Program, which includes deal registration and training.
"This is another example of how Xerox is very interested in and views
partners as strategically important to our future," said Tom Gall, value
channel marketing manager at Xerox. "This is an important set of products
for resellers."
Xerox will offer an authorized training program for resellers interested in
this product line. The program will feature just a few hours of online training
that will help partners sell and integrate the products.
